If you are new to lino printing then this course would be the perfect introduction to this versatile art form. Hilary Marshall is an experienced teacher and artist who will take you step by step through the process. You will learn how to: design an image for the medium, mark making using a range of tools to create different effects, make your own printing plate and finally print an image using two colours. We hope that you will go away inspired to continue at home - with this in mind you, will have the opportunity to experiment with a variety of equipment which will enable you to find out your own preferences if you intend to buy some of your own. At the end, you will leave with a print, mounted and ready to hang for everyone to admire.

There will be a short break for lunch so please bring a packed lunch.
