Mitilha Art

If you are interested in arts from different cultures and enjoy mindfulness activities this will be a perfect combination. Mitilha art is both a vibrant and delicate form of folk painting, originating from Bihar in Eastern India. Inspired by the work of Rambharos Jha, Hilary, an experienced artist and teacher, will work with you to create your own piece in this style. Using watercolour and pen work, this course is suitable for all abilities. Materials and equipment will be provided so there is no need to bring anything. We know that sometimes students like to come prepared with an idea, if that’s the case we plan to work on a square 15 x 15cm. We recommend that you keep designs quite simple.
