Mixed Media Artist
My creative practice has taken me on an interesting and varied journey, not necessarily following traditional routes, more of an exploration and free style meandering between possibilities, techniques and materials. Each of my artworks morphing many times as they slowly take shape. I am particularly interested in exploring the connection between sound, colour and texture and how colours continually surprise us with their vibrancy, subtle tones and hidden depths, as the light changes all around us.
Working with a range of mediums I relish the endless opportunities that traditional and modern materials bring. I am happy to take on commissions and love to include personal elements within my work. My studio in Hemingford Grey, Cambridgeshire, is home to my second creative passion ‘Art@One’ where I run workshops and curate regular open exhibitions promoting new and established artists form all disciplines of art.
